8th January 2020 at 9:23 pm #58091The commentator in the United City game said away goals did not count and if it was all square at the end of the second game on aggregate then it goes to penalties. Maybe he was wrong then.

8th January 2020 at 9:35 pm #58094what a defensive cock up for Leicester’s equaliser. They should go on and win this first leg now however Villa will go into the second leg still a chance to proceed which I doubted would be the case before kick off.

8th January 2020 at 9:51 pm #58097Ah yeah sorry Adlab, it’s as New Balance said. Often when you add a “like” it will appear incorrect to you but as soon as the page is reloaded, it corrects itself. Haven’t managed to fix yet. To clarify, it does add it correctly. It just doesn’t appear to do so to the one adding it.

8th January 2020 at 9:52 pm #5809867, that was the way it used to be where away goals scored didn’t count until the end of extra time not sure when they changed it not even extra time now except in the Final until then it’s straight to penalties at the end of 90 mins. Never really understood that rule anyway.?

8th January 2020 at 11:01 pm #58100Good effort by Villa. I thought Mings was outstanding. Still think Leicester will go through but Villa in with more than a chance now.

9th January 2020 at 7:39 am #58105I like villa. Much like sheff utd, their manager is from the area and is a live long fan.
I hope they stay up. I have to say jack grealish has stepped up and looks a proper pl player.
Captaining his hometown club at such a young age aswell.

9th January 2020 at 8:48 am #58107Really like Grealish Sean. I’d much rather Utd tried to get him in than Maddison tbh. Grealish has an arrogance about him that I like. Bit of a diver but aside from that, he’s a very good player, albeit one you almost have to build a team around.

9th January 2020 at 9:58 am #58109He’s a player I’d actually like Liverpool to sign. Seems to have improved his attitude and temperament ⚽️⚽️??

9th January 2020 at 10:23 am #58110As Ed said he’s a good player but needs a team built around him. I can’t see him, or Maddison for that matter, fitting into a Klopp 433, but for teams that play a 4231 with two solid no 6s he would do well. He’s 24 now so not really a youngster anymore and has matured a lot it seems, probably at the right time for him to make a step up.

9th January 2020 at 12:43 pm #58111I think Grealish would be perfect for Klopp he’s all action and would fit perfectly into a 4/3/3 system imo given his ability to get up and down the pitch.
Having said that I think Klopp might go for a bit more midfield creativity in the Summer that seems the only missing ingredient at Liverpool to me.
Villa can’t afford to lose Grealish though and he would go for a lot lot more than Spurs could have got him for in 2018 he’s also a Villa fan and seems happy at the Club but career wise a big move could lift him to a different level under the right Manager and propel him into the England team too.

9th January 2020 at 12:50 pm #58112Yes he is good at getting up and down the pitch, and left and right, in fact he’s excellent at wandering all over the place. He is a player you need to say go do your thing, don’t worry about defending, tracking back or holding your position. Hence he needs two disciplined players to be effective, but with the right setup could become a regular international.
Very far away from being a midfielder for a Klopp 433.

9th January 2020 at 1:01 pm #58113threeps, all about opinions mate.Klopp is great at developing players, imo he would develop Grealish into exactly the midfield player who would benefit Liverpool.
Not worth worrying about though because I don’t think Grealish is the direction that Klopp will go next Summer given how much he would cost and where Klopp might see his priorities and that’s assuming anyone could even get him out of Villa who would be very very reluctant sellers.

28th January 2020 at 1:47 pm #62324First second leg tonight both live on Sky should be a good game you would think Leicester will have too much for Villa but you just never know.
United pulling back the Semi Final at the Etihad looks a long shot but again you just never know.
Still think it will be “A Tale of Two Cities” though at the end of Wednesday night.
