Went flat towards the end albeit that dribbling from Armstrong, but credit to the Saints holding out without conceding.

Could be though a big statement sent in the second half; easily 4 goals and a turnaround should Pep make significant changes.

Possibly a vital step in the right direction not only for Nathan Jones to avoid the possibly of shown the revolving door, but more importantly, a huge step in the right direction for Southampton who Tonight in essence didn’t put a foot wrong and held out one of the best teams in Europe. Fantastic Result.
