I disagree with him all clubs have owners from different countries and they all rich men, some of them spend more than others but they all spend lots of money, it’s their money but why discriminate against owners from the East. Are they less worthy people in our eyes?

It wasn’t a great game but overall Leicester looked the better team today but they were a lot closer to their starting 11 than City.

I thought Grealish looked bright when he came on.

Seemingly City will go higher than £100m for Kane but won’t meet Levy’s alleged valuation of £150/£160m with Pep prepared to play without a striker if they can’t sign a suitable one and putting Kane to one side there are very few at the level City are looking at to choose from.

Well no striker worked well for City last season and the squad is packed with talent too, I was impressed with young Palmer yesterday he looks like he could be a player.

City might get away without a striker again this season too although I think they might have more competition at the top of the table this season so it could be a risk?

Nice touch from the proper Barca fans although ultimately given all the circumstances at Barca the fans probably need to move on fairly quickly.

Sean, it’s a lot of money mate for Lukaku but that reflects a) the fact Inter didn’t want to sell him and b) the dearth of quality strikers available.

Hand on heart I would have preferred Haaland simply because of his age but seemingly that was never going to happen this Summer and imo Lukaku was the next best option and I think he will give Chelsea a much greater presence up front and more goals than Tammy would have and as you touched on Chelsea have the players to load the bullets for Lukaku.

Overall fee aside I think Lukaku is a very positive signing for Chelsea.

How come Barcalona were allowed get into that much debt with fffp etc
