One of my favourite players at City is Bernado Silva, always give 100% plus but he is likely to move on…I will be sad about that but I think pep got the best out of him and he will be a star in another team. I also believe Pep has a different game plan for next season and he will change Grealish as a player hopefully for the better but never a guarantee with these things. We should see some exciting games though, no brick walls for City I feel

6th August 2021 at 5:17 pm #182328Chucky, you be careful you donβt fall over with all those bags of McCain Chips on each shoulder.
Chips is all I have Puppy, unless you want to chuck in a pickled onion. Don’t have much hope for anything else. I genuinely can’t remember that last time I was this “excited” about a new season. Literally, the best I can hope for is knowing one of the financially doped clubs is going to miss out so I can either tell you ‘what a waste of money’, or tease BB!!

6th August 2021 at 5:33 pm #182329Ye nine some good games on mate. Iβll be tuning into Bournemouth game today. Genuinely excited about next week as there will be fans there. Last season was so so bizarre and watching football with no fans was crap but better then no football at sll

6th August 2021 at 6:49 pm #182333A fair translation for those confused by Kane’s statement earlier π
In short: Iβm resigned to staying because me and my brother daftly agreed a six-year contract and underestimated Daniel Levy, so I now need to build bridges https://t.co/R6an7rfG1Q

Wasn’t an option and I wasn’t asking permission… π
So, Dirty Harry is back-peddling faster than a clown at Barnum’s… does someone have a custurd pie in the face?

6th August 2021 at 8:20 pm #182339I suspect that both Pep and Kane are looking to establish a background where this transfer might have the best chance of happening. I think City would probably be prepared to go over the Β£100m mark maybe to Β£110m/Β£120m but I don’t think City will be prepared to go to Β£150m and if City back out I’m not sure anyone else would be prepared to try and sign Kane at the money Levy seemingly wants.

6th August 2021 at 8:25 pm #182340Why are there ‘representations’ of X Y Z that we’ve not heard of in reporting of players being sold that’s supposedly supported the brokering of the Jack Grealish deal?
100 Million doesn’t justify it. Then I’m reading then perceiving ‘a way found through’.
So that’s “perfectly fine then”.
It makes me wonder whether people won’t bat an eyelid and give a red carpet treatment to a 200 million Man City, Chelsea or Man United Sale of a Player and believe whatever they read online for justification – not that they need to π

6th August 2021 at 8:36 pm #182341Nil, I’m not entirely sure what you’re saying but the Grealish deal was very straightforward the contract Grealish signed last Summer had a Β£100m buy out clause in it as soon as any Club offered Β£100m then they met the clause and had the right to discuss Grealish joining them City met the buy out clause and the rest is history.

6th August 2021 at 8:48 pm #182344Nine, appreciate your explanation mate.
I see from Villa originally actioned to protect their player.
I just see in all honesty 2 or 3 clubs that are still holding Ultra Monopoly, just when I thought there was more of a level playing field from Television Revenue, a Generous amount to support clubs.
In essence, it’s just from my point of view an Axe. If it’s not Man United, then it’s Chelsea. If it’s not Chelsea then it’s Manchester City.
Just discouraging to say the least.

6th August 2021 at 9:10 pm #182354Sounds like Levy more to the point of angling a sale than the overall thought of Tottenham and their Welfare.
No wonder Spurs fans are already feeling the doom and gloom. What do they have to look forward to?
