Sorry Double B, not buying the whole “security for my family” one little bit. Dirty Harry has earned at least 30 million from the last three years, plus whatever he earned before that, plus whatever he gets from the dozens of “sponsorship” deals he has… he’s got more than enough dosh!!!

As a Spud who used to love him I can only paraphrase Axel and suggest he should be buried in the backyard.

Dirty Harry can go and do one, but it will be on Levy’s terms. If Money City want to go all big-boots, then cough up the dosh. End of story.

The “legacy” is ruined.

We thought he was different, Buffy, but he’s just like all the others… as good as he is, if he wants to go he can go, but he goes on our terms… no one is bigger than the club (even our club! 🙂 ) and I’ve been supporting Spuds long before he was even wearing a Goonie shirt.

The only question left is whether he’s lower on the Christmas Card list than R-Sol!

I’d even sell him to YooUtd first than the Scooby Dooby Sportswashing Campaign project. Very disappointed about that.

Chelsea seemingly moving on from Haaland to Lukaku. £100mil is a lot of money for Lukaku but there’s a real dearth of top strikers around at the moment.

Agree with Chucky, Kane looking to leave Spurs has nothing to do with money.

I can’t see anyone paying circa £150m for a 28 year old striker who has dodgy ankles though so this whole thing is likely to fester on and if Kane doesn’t go this Summer Spurs won’t get anything like £100m for him in the future.

For good or bad Kane and Spurs might well be stuck with each other.

Feel sorry for Nuno as this is none of his making and may well impact on Spurs season.

For all Lukaku’s critics (and there were a lot when he was at Utd!), I feel he’d definitely make Chelsea contenders in the league this season. He has his flaws but he knows where the back of the net is and would score a lot in that side. It’s a lot of money but you’re buying guaranteed goals and someone who knows the league.

Chucky, Tbh I think Chelsea would take Kane in a heartbeat but not at £150m and moving to Chelsea would probably be too much for him to cope with given the likely backlash from Spurs fans such a move would create. Can’t see that ever happening although it would be a solution for all parties.

This is true Spurs as far as I know have not won much with Kane so why keep him when you can do so much more with all that money, who knows who will come to add maybe a trophy, 3 players are better than 1. Spurs being a big club have always managed to draw big players despite their lack of success.

Yep Chucky no doubt Chelsea could afford to pay circa £150m for Kane they’re currently sitting on almost £60m from fringe player sales this Summer with more still likely to come in too but it’s not about what’s affordable it’s about what’s value for money and Kane at 28 with dodgy ankles would not be value for money at circa £150m.

Even £100m as good as he is, because of his age and injuries is not good value for money imo but given the dearth of top strikers somebody will pay that I don’t think anyone will go much higher than that though.

To make money you need to invest in players who can bring you success, not 1 or 2 but a decent amount of quality players and then it becomes a case of managing the club correctly.
