Hopefully good reason for that nine and it’s already sorted, fingers crossed because we won’t bring in anyone until no.9 is sorted so hopefully the club are as confident as some “reports” suggest

I’d actually be surprised if Chelsea don’t sign Haaland this summer. They are a club who know when to strike and given that they are the current European champions, that’s as good a time as any to make the most of that and further strengthen. And you also risk losing out on him next summer when they’ll be a greater bidding war.

Lucky, I’m not saying we’ll get Haaland but I think we might well get one of him or Lukaku I just get the feeling that Chelsea know where there at on the striker chase. Could well be wrong of course.😊

Nine…maybe so, we do have players we can trade but my view is the players suggested I would rather keep than have Kane.Bernado, Sterling and Laporte

I’m doing Ok thanks losing my hair now but I knew it was coming trying to see that positively in so far as if the Chemo is killing off the good cells it’s hopefully killing of the bad cells too.🤞

Next Chemo treatment on Thursday.

Nine, you say “As I said yesterday I don’t think even City would pay £160m for Kane”. The “even” Man City bit on this I think is a little unfair. City have no history of paying this kind of money for anyone. In fact, the most they have ever spent on a player is £68m and that was on Kevin De Bruyne (the leagues best player). Man United have 4 of the top 5 most expensive transfers in the league ever in Pogba (£89m), Maguire (£80m), Lukaku (£75m) and Sancho (£73m). Liverpool have Van Dijk in that list (£75m). City spend a lot, yes, but doesn’t tend to be massive money on single players, its just most of the players they buy cost between £25m and £60m!

Tugay, I’m aware of that mate and no offence to City was intended the point was made based on City having the highest net spend over the last few seasons.

If Chelsea were to sign Haaland for instance a large slice of the suggested circa £150m would as has happened in recent years need to be part funded by player sales I suspect the same would need to happen at City too if City were to sign Kane which like Haaland is in no way assured anyway.
