I had Salah in my early teams but I pushed away from him for a few drafts now. its not that I didnt want him, its that I wanted to try to have quality attack and defence this season and adding him and other premium mids makes it impossible to do that.

So I will be playing catch up after GW 2-3 and is Salah keeps banging in goals, he’s really going to make me regret things, especially as not having him afforded me the chance to double up on Liverpool defence… which worked so well for me today lol.

Nil, Cost was impressive today alright. I took at look at him but the player who nearly made my team was Werst Broms Pereirra. just you watch this lad. he’s quality.

I’ve sold Auba for Fernandes and brought in pulisic. neither are considered to be Salah/Auba/mane/KDB level but Ive a gutt feeling about them both. premium players for non-premium prices… thats the hope. if it goes tits up then I just hope our defence sorts itself out and gets me clean sheets bonuses! Also gonna have to watch Keita.

Salah looked back to his prolific and exquisite best today, though his totals were still pretty good last season. Even though he can frustrate, he nearly always comes up with a moment of magic in a game. Great player.

Nil, I also have Werner. Most are expecting him to do well and for good reason. Its absolutely crazy that him and Firmino are priced the same. Firmino is so over-priced its really unfair for him.

anyway i transferred in martial, fernandez and foden. id love to have waited but I cant risk price rises. Im down to 0.0 with these trades. I always take a while to get going in FPL though, I kinda take hits and later on my value makes up for it, mostly anyway. I say this like I have a long pattern of play, this is my 3rd season in FPL but you get me.

Keita though was so disappointing today. there’s no way he keeps his palce with that kind of performance. Its day 1, so I hope Klopp gives him another go but I am starting to wonder about having him in my team. seems so solid and still might be but Klopp will drop his ass with hendo, Gini and fabinho all fit.
