Football is Finally Back with us – I mean the Proper Stuff hahaha π
Wycombe Wanderers are in the Championship would you believe?!
Got a few fixtures on Sat as far as the Prem goes. Obviously looking forward to Liverpool-Leeds π
Plus racking some points up from Fantasy Football.
Obviously no fans still, but I’m sure the Footy will still live up to it’s billing.

10th September 2020 at 11:04 am #165944Hard to get excited without fans but at least itβs something mate
I expect performances to be a bit lacklustre as no proper pre-season. Expect to see a good few injuries.
Good to have it back though
After Boris announcement yday, I donβt expect fans to be bsck anytime soon
The whole thing is an absolute shambles now. England or Irish governments have no idea what the fuck they are doing
Complete fucking idiots

10th September 2020 at 11:12 am #165945Sean, fully get you mate. We had somebody from our workplace struck with co-vid and is in isolation. It’s not going away anytime soon and there won’t effectively be any Christmas or any festivities where we can all congregate as a families.
It is hard to get excited, but I’m ultra glad we have it in place. With limitations placed, it’s hard to not have anything to look forward to so from that point of view, I’m happy.

12th September 2020 at 11:39 am #166016AnonymousFPL team done, room for lots of improvement with that….
its a little exciting to have the football back, but, it’ll be a long season without fans.
Reckon we’ll see some really, really strange results over the first few months, a number of injuries and some lifeless limp games.
And for arsenal fans, It’s downhill from here! π Lets enjoy it while we can. Best of luck everyone…

12th September 2020 at 1:15 pm #166020Its probably me but at this point I dont think I have been as less excited at the beginning of a new season. No proper summer break, no pre-season and no crowds. Of course we have to make the best of a bad job in difficult times but I cant summon up any enthusiasm. Watching Fulham v Arsenal and there is just no spark. Its a game of football but not an event. Perhaps it will pick up.Although, I did have the same feeling for the last 10 games of last season.

12th September 2020 at 1:19 pm #166021Sean totally right. The only thing that matters to Bozo and co is to get their no deal brexit which they have alwaus wanted. Absolute idiots. But thats just my opinion.

The Fulham game just seems dull.

12th September 2020 at 1:26 pm #166023Adlab, are you really blaming Boris for no fans in the Stadiums?
Remember what happend after the Liverpool v Atletico game and at Cheltenham and as far as I know Boris doesn’t have any authority in Europe where no crowds are allowed either.

12th September 2020 at 1:45 pm #166025AnonymousI am through this and out the other side I guess, as I am very excited about the new season. Of course, who knows how long it will last, as infection rates are sky-rocketing.
Adlab, I don’t know how much it applies to Boris but I feel you’re right with regards to the no deal BS. I don’t know much but surely he should be legally forced to stick to the deal? Didn’t your government vote against a no deal brexit? As long as he makes money for himself and his chums I suppose.
I’ve an English friend who is Type 1 diabetic, on top of other health issues. This won’t be good news for him.

12th September 2020 at 1:49 pm #166026That was an absolutely stunning 3rd goal from arsenal
The passing at the back and all the way through to Aubemayang was sensational

12th September 2020 at 1:55 pm #166029The whole move from back to front was excellent mak
Great finish aswell. Arsenal look so much more organised at the back. Itβs nearly the whole team behind the ball when they donβt have it.

12th September 2020 at 1:56 pm #166030Waspy-Arse have been sensational in the 2nd half, and Gabriel already looks some player. They really should give to Auba and Laca whatever they want to stay.Brillaint strikers, with Auba the best in the league by far.
