23rd February 2019 at 2:36 pm #34045At work at the mo but thought Spurs would turn this around.
Business end of the season and every point is fought for.

23rd February 2019 at 2:39 pm #34047Too many defeats for a title win Chucky. That was the point I was making.
Poch could be in big trouble though for that confrontation with Mike Dean.
On the positive side for Spurs I’m not sure United will come calling for Poch now.

23rd February 2019 at 2:42 pm #34048As Nil rightly says it’s the business end of the season and every point is fought for Burnley is never an easy place to go especially as they are fighting for their lives too.

23rd February 2019 at 5:23 pm #34061? Wow! ?
Fair to say Mauricio Pochettino is not happy with referee Mike Dean after his sideβs loss at Turf Moor! ?

23rd February 2019 at 5:30 pm #34062So nice of Poch though to say he will “maybe apologise” to Dean for his behaviour. Mourinho did that at either Chelsea or Utd and there would be outrage!

23rd February 2019 at 5:33 pm #34064As for Spurs, it was stupid that people were getting carried away after they comfortably bet Dortmund in the week and it’s just as stupid to get carried away after this result. They’ll no doubt finish around 3rd which will be a decent season, but like Nine says, will most certainly secure his stay at Spurs which will please the Spurs fans.

23rd February 2019 at 6:33 pm #34066Ed, I never personally have ruled Spurs out of contention but my argument is that the media match onto whichever way the wind blows.
They also read too deep into results/league table standings and leads like ‘7 points clear.
Obviously now there are only a handful of games left but it only takes a Team to slip up a couple of times in succession for another to team to capitalise.

23rd February 2019 at 8:48 pm #34070I have to say too that if Mourinho had done that the press would be all over it like a rash. He would have a fine and a ban. And I am no fan of Jose.
