I don’t think Klopp will rush Oxlade Chamberlain back too soon he’s had a nasty injury is not yet in full training and even when he is back in full training he will need to get match fit.
O.C. might be around the Liverpool team for the last few games of a run in but nobody should expect too much of him when he’s been out for circa a year it will take him time to get back to playing at his very best.

22nd February 2019 at 10:59 pm #34008I wouldn’t worry too much about what went before Nil that is pre Klopp and pre most of these players.
lf Liverpool are good enough and can handle the pressure there’s every chance they will win the title what happened in 2014 and before will have no bearing on what happens from here.
If Liverpool beat United at OT I think the force will be with them.

22nd February 2019 at 11:02 pm #34010Nine, it’s just a talk in optimism mate.
I get that nobody on here that doesn’t like Liverpool don’t want them to win anything mate.
That is how it is 🙂 Every man for themselves 🙂 No Ox, no nothing.
Let’s just go for years winning nothing, watch others, and then congratulate them.

22nd February 2019 at 11:09 pm #34011Nil, as I said if Liverpool beat United on Sunday I think the force will be with them even a draw would be a good result with a tough game gone and City still having to go to OT, this weekend could be pivotal in the title race.
But even if Liverpool were to lose I don’t think they are out of it they will still be level on points with City.

23rd February 2019 at 12:06 am #34013Chucks, not sure how long you were in the UK mate, but from growing up, the Matches regimentally were pinned to 3pm Sat.
I had no Live stream, no Internet, no Sky, no nothing – just a Radio and a Family Set around 28inch at the time of Oracle and Ceefax.
Match Of The Day back then with a Couple of Woodpecker and Budweiser was ACE 😀 🙂
4pm Sun and Monday Night was good craic, but understandably, Television Revenue for clubs talks, so they can’t and won’t have a moan.
It’s the fans that are impacted and will feel it deep down no matter what’s said.

23rd February 2019 at 8:27 am #34014Used to love watching the viddy printer thing on grandstand, maybe MOTD if I was good…
Silly Nilly Willy… I don’t get all this “oh no, why don’t non-Pool fans want Pool to win” nonsense, my auld cyber chum, everybody wants their own team to win first, mate. If my Spuds don’t win it, I don’t really care who does win it, and I don’t really care about your “29” years, why would I? I’m a Spuds fan. And why would any non-Pool boys think differently??
It’s not a question of deliberately not wanting Pool to win, chumster, it’s more like nobody cares whether Pool win it or not…

23rd February 2019 at 8:52 am #34015Matches screened live on TV can be a nightmare for the regular match going fans but are a major benefit to the armchair fans who never get to matches.
Much of the PL Club’s revenues are driven by the TV deals which has made the PL as competitive as it is and PL games are watched all over the world often at ridiculous times making the PL the world’s most attractive League.
Much better imo than a 5/10 minute slot on MOTD if your team was lucky enough to be covered.
Thoroughly looking forward to the United v Liverpool game tomorrow probably more than I am the Chelsea v City game. ?

23rd February 2019 at 8:57 am #34016Agree with Chucky if Chelsea can’t compete for the title I really don’t care who wins it I just want it to be an exciting title race with as many teams fighting it out for the title as possible which it is this season and it going right to the wire.

23rd February 2019 at 12:25 pm #34025Line-ups are in… pretty strong for my boys, Sir Harry back (which is nice), but our right flank does not look good with Weirdy Beardy and the Penalty Kid… it won’t take a genius to suggest that side should be targeted and so what you like about Sean Dyche, he isn’t a genius…

23rd February 2019 at 1:14 pm #34030Spuds growing into the game with every minute, Burnley defending deeper and deeper, is it a fitness thing with Burnley? They were tear-arsing around like wasps at a picnic for the first 20 minutes…

23rd February 2019 at 1:59 pm #34034Burnley got done there Rose was way down the pitch from where that throw should have been taken. Good goal by Kane though I’m going for a 93rd minute winner from Llorente off of his shoulder to keep Durham’s prediction alive.?
That was a red for Bardsley terrible tackle or should I say assault.

23rd February 2019 at 2:08 pm #34037Don’t ask adders… find out Tuesday about 13:15 I reckon…
Don’t like these lunchtime kick-offs… very sloppy game now… nobody seems to be able to keep the ball for more than 3 passes at the moment…
And it’s not like we’re due a draw…
