22nd February 2019 at 7:07 pm #33987Am I the only genuinely annoyed at the sheer principle of there only being 2 “3 o’clock” kick-offs this weekend????

22nd February 2019 at 7:36 pm #33988Chucks, Good Evening.
I’m in your camp. I’m grateful for TV coverage of live games but would never dismiss a Saturday Afternoon 3pm.

22nd February 2019 at 8:00 pm #33991Hello Campers…
Yeah, that Norffern M42 rivalry is the big one this weekend. Be more than happy with a YooUtd win but do suspect 3 points for Pool. Sorry Goosey, but it seems to be all the “big” games they’ve actually won since nappy-face took over had more than a fair share of luck in them, it’s going to run out soon enough!
Still think YooUtd will clinch 4th mind you. Goonies just aren’t good enough and Chelsea, bless ’em, are a bit all over the place right now.

22nd February 2019 at 8:05 pm #33993Kylie-I tend to agree my Aussie friend, expecting Pool to win this 2-1.Our defence is pure shite,so expect Salah & co to have a few chances.

22nd February 2019 at 9:37 pm #33995Utd didn’t get much luck against any of Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea. We were certainly unlucky against PSG though. They go down to ten men there and it’s a different game. They were definitely the better side though, overall. But we were quite comfortable in the 3 big away games until we tired in the last half hour or so. Against Spurs we should have been out of sight at half time. Chelsea we never looked like losing and Arsenal was quite comfortable, too.
Still, we’ve definitely not been as good at home under Ole as away so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Liverpool nick it either. Wouldn’t be a disaster for us in the chase for a CL spot mind.

22nd February 2019 at 9:44 pm #33998Mav, I think it’s been well into a year where back at home, The PL Decided in TV to put in a Friday Night ‘Slot’.
Personally mate, I just think in too much choice and spread, for ‘A’ weekend.
Right now we don’t wanna play lol π π

22nd February 2019 at 9:54 pm #34000My two pennyworth about our game on Sunday is that it is a season defining game as far as the league is concerned. If we win, I really feel we will go on and win the league. Conversely if we lose I feel City will go on and win it fairly comfortably. A draw and it’s still up.in the air.
While it’s obviously not mathematically decided – far from it – I honestly feel this weekend could very tell us the destination of the title.
…and I’m far from confident!

22nd February 2019 at 10:05 pm #34002For me, the season defining game was the City vs Liverpool one and it completely opened the title race. Now itβs simply a case of who will trip up more in the run in. I expect both City & Liverpool to continue to drop points. Be great if Ox could come back earlier than expected – he could provide a huge lift when he returns.
As for Sundayβs game, I think anything could happen. So Iβll go for 2-2.

22nd February 2019 at 10:13 pm #34004Personally, no longer fan of Sunday games in fact just dislike Sunday. Worse comes to the worse, we lose, we’re shot down, then every other anti Liverpool has their field day, year 29.
“That’s how it is”
Tell you what though, win it, and just zone out from the rest of the Universe haha. Don’t allow anybody.

22nd February 2019 at 10:40 pm #34005Nil, even if Liverpool lose to United on Sunday they are still in the title race and still level on points with City with a tricky game gone and City still having to go to OT too.

22nd February 2019 at 10:49 pm #34006Nine, in understanding mate, we ourselves have been in this position before, and we’ve basically been all but cursed.
Just effectively to an extent, a hurdle just to see through.
Cheers
