Gomez meanwhile has been sound since his regular inclusion on the back of long term casualty Nathanial Clyne.

It above all makes a fundamental difference when you have quality fullbacks in your back four line up.

He’s very solid and plays as though he was a committed red as a kid – lots of heart and determination. Let’s hope he progresses and makes a few more step-ups in his career as he has a great attitude.

PPT, there are players like this in the market which often can be found in the Championship. But it’s for those out there to ultimately give these people the opportunities.

I often wonder the point of both Raglan Klavan and Alberto Moreno when I could imagine there are better players out there in our English Leagues.

I remember seeing his first game for us and thinking that he was going to be a very good player for us. I thought he was excellent, yet Klopp dropped him and we didn’t see him until Moreno got injured. I don’t understand this but in the end of the day, he’s getting his game now and he’s really performing. Fantastic signing.
