Just seen this now.

Proper Old School Manager. I didn’t know who he was until Liverpool met Portsmouth in the FA Cup Semi Final at Highbury back in 1992 when he was their Manager. He very nearly steered Pompey back then into an FA Cup Final.

Rest In Peace.
