4th Place and Uefa Cup slots

Obviously I know it’s early days, but was just thinking in the direction of Burnley and how well they’ve done so far.

Competition in recent years has changed the landscape as realistically there are 6 teams that you would consider automatically to fill the 1st 6 position, but it would be great for an outsider to break into the that 6 and reward themselves with at least a Uefa cup spot.

Depending on how the Cups go you could actually say Top 7, and considering the gap already developing to 8th, looking good for Burnley!

Chucky, that’s what I like about this. From a neutral point of view it’s refreshing to see a different team out there in the mix even though only 12 games in.

HUGE 3 points for Pool yesterday, going to come in very handy for the Top4 race I reckon!!

I think we can say goodbye to the Goonies too, can’t see any of Pool, YooUtd or Chelski dropping 8 more points than the Goon Show by the end of the season to be honest.

All we need now is Stoke to show up tonight and make the Top4 race really interesting, keeping 3 points separating 2nd thru 5th… but somehow I doubt it!

Arsenal look to have too much to do now and one of the top 5 will also miss out. It’s going to be interesting and the January transfer market might well play a part.
