It was a very tired performance last night. For their second goal two simple passes bypassed our lines far too easily. There was little closing down when they had the ball, we just seemed to back off them. And there seemed to be no awareness of where the opposition players were until it was too late. Again Salah helps bail us out. We’ve got to add a few in January now. I always thought it strange that no major signing was made in the summer when the new manager came in. We only bought Chiesa (injury issues) and a goalkeeper (for next season).
