There is a history of irony in this; admittedly to go back to argue the point of Liverpool. I well remember them out of their depth at Selhurst Park 1992 seeing John Barnes overwhelmed by the Presence of John Fashanu; supposedly a perceived silhouette. I liked Fash for being happy-go-lucky-mild, whilst able in standing his ground when needed.
The point being here is that there would or shouldn’t Ultimately be any favouritism towards the so-called favourable team when making Refereeing Decisions.
Rodri some time back DID Handball versus Everton and he was GUILTY. The Officials BAILED. Their Accountability because one could argue that prevented Liverpool winning the League. This is Man United again ALL IN BLUE. So at times from my point of view, it’s not to a degree a blessing, but SLOW PAIN in EXPERIENCE.
